I closely considered the Aeron, which was my initial choice, but I felt so upright and stiff in that chair. This one went for $399 at a DWR Outlet it looks like. The embody, and any ergo chair, I don’t think is intended to allow longer sitting periods. I don’t imagine it will be for everyone, which is what worried me the most within this insanely expensive purchase. The hardest part for me is that my desk (IKEA Karlby/Alex combo) sits at 70cm, which is just a little too high for me to sit the Embody at the right height with my feet feeling comfortable on the ground. Then you have suits (Business Management). While I wouldn't personally buy another Embody, I would choose another high-end ergonomic office chair - not a gaming chair. Nice setup! The main issue with “gaming chairs” is that you’re paying $300-$700 for a fancy looking uncomfortable racechair with 0 back support. I’m also considering buying the legs to a stand up desk. It's design is similar, and sitting in it feels similar too. At only $50AUD more than a Karlby, I think its a good pricepoint for something cut to the exact size I wanted, with a better material that won't sag/warp as some people say the Karlby can (I'm pretty sure it's a particleboard veneer). I have a Leap v2 as well and that thing is built like a tank compared to the Embody but I find the Embody more comfortable for me since I'm a bigger guy (260 pounds).
